Summer School offers dance classes at all levels

All classes will be held at Scots College, or at venues a short distance from the College. Transport for residents will be provided to classes held at venues away from the College.
Choosing a class
In deciding which class you would like to join, choose a class that will challenge you, but will not make you feel out of your depth. Honest self-assessment of your dancing ability is best. If in doubt, use the class selector below, or talk to your club tutor.
You must be prepared to participate fully in your chosen class for the entire duration of the Summer School. Your class choice should take into account not only your prior experience, but also your current fitness and energy levels, and any injuries.
The Organising Committee relies on your judgement and that of your tutor in assigning you to a class that you will both benefit from and enjoy. The Committee reserves the right to move you to another class if it is considered that you aren’t dancing at the level required for your chosen class.

Classes – FAQs
Are classes compulsory?
Participation in classes for which you have registered (morning dance classes or musicians’ class) is expected each day. If for any reason you are unable to attend class, let your tutor or an Organising Committee member know. Afternoon classes, except if you have registered to attend the musicians’ class, are optional.
What if there are not enough dancers to hold a class?
Classes can only be run if there is sufficient interest. If we are unable to offer you the class for which you register, we will contact you personally to discuss other options. Please note that it may not be possible to offer the class of choice to dancers registering after the closing date.
